“μηὸς” μὲν ὅτι μήτηρ ὁ Νο̣ῦ̣ς ἐστιν τῶν ἄλλων̣,

“ἐᾶς” δὲ ὅτι ἀγαθῆς. δηλοῖ δὲ καὶ ἐν τοῖσδε τοῖς ἔπεσ̣ιν

____ ὅτι ἀγαθὴν σημαίνει·

____ “ Ἑρμῆ Μαιάδος υἱὲ διάκτορε δῶτορ ἐά̣ων”.

5____ δηλοῖ δὲ καὶ ἐν τιδε·

“δοιοὶ γάρ τε πίθοι κατακήαται ἐν Διὸς οὔδει

____ δώρων, οἷα διδοῦσι, κακῶν, ἕτερος δέ τ’ ἐάων”.

οἱ δὲ τὸ ῥῆμα οὐ γινώσκοντες δοκοῦ̣σιν εἶναι

‘μητρὸς ἑαυτοῦ’. ὁ δ’ εἴπερ ἤθελεν “ἑαυτοῦ μητρὸς

10ἐν φιλότητι” ἀποδ̣ε̣ῖξαι “θέλοντα μιχθῆναι” τὸν

θεόν, ἐξῆν αὐτῶι γράμματα παρακλίναντα

‘μ̣η̣τ̣ρ̣ὸ̣ς̣ ἑοῖο’ εἰπεν. οὕτω γ̣ρ̣ ἂν ‘ἑαυτο̣ῦ̣’ γίνοιτο,

 α̣ὐτῆς ἂν εῆλον ὅτι ̣ ̣ ̣

 ἐν τῆι συγ̣ ̣ἀμφοτερ̣
