ἐκ ὲ̣ ὰ̣ ἐ̣ό̣ντα ἓν αστον κέκαι ἀπὸ τοῦ

ἐπικρατοῦντος, Ζεὺ πάντα κατὰ τὸν αὐτὸν

λόγον ἐκλήθη· πάντω̣ν̣ γὰρ ὁ ἀὴρ ἐπικρατεῖ

τοσοῦτον ὅσον βούλε̣τ̣αι. ‘Μοῖραν̣’ δ' ‘ἐπικλῶσαι’

5λέ̣γοντες τοῦ Διὸς τὴν φρόνησιν ἐ̣πικυρῶσαι

λέγουσιν τὰ ἐόντα κα̣ὶ τὰ γινόμενα καὶ τὰ μέλλοντα,

ὅπως χρὴ γενέσθαι τε καὶ εἶναι κα παύσασθαι.

β̣ασι̣λ̣εῖ δὲ αὐτὸν εἰκάζει (τοῦτο γάρ οἱ προσφέρειν

____ ἐφανετο ἐκ τῶν λεγομένων ὀνομάτων) λέγων ὧδε·

10 “Ζεὺς̣ βασιλεύς, Ζεὺς δ' ἀρχὸς ἁπάντ̣ω̣ν ἀργικέραυνος”.
